Runflat Technology

Mobility beyond a puncture.

An ARMS Runflat is a safety and mobility device installed inside the tyre, around the wheel rim. When the tyre loses air pressure or suffers significant damage, the system provides internal support designed to help the vehicle remain mobile and controllable.

Its purpose is simple: give the driver or vehicle operator the ability to continue moving rather than being forced to stop immediately in an unsafe or operationally critical location.

How it works

Normal operation

The vehicle operates normally with the ARMS system installed inside the tyre.

Pressure loss

Following a puncture or tyre damage, air pressure may be partially or completely lost.

Continued mobility

The Runflat system supports the tyre internally, helping the vehicle remain mobile until a safer location can be reached.
